The selected winner of Nomad St Moritz 2024 is the Polish artist Mateusz Choróbski represented by the Galleria Secci di Firenze.
In order to give a further spur to the creativity of the participant artists and create a new pleasant moment of artistic debate, Luce5 has set up the prize The Art of Lighting Award. This will be a fixed event in every edition of Nomad.
The Art of Lighting Award aims to invite art galleries to propose unpublished projects through an open announcement for all the associated artists.
This is a new and original initiative dedicated to, on one side, enhancing the visions of internationally leading artists and designers (together with their associated art galleries) and, on the other side, is an opportunity to add ligth works of aesthetic and cultural importance to the Nomad showcase.
According to the project in every Nomad edition, both the summer and the winter one, a winner is chosen. Based on the criteria chosen by the panel, composed of founders of NOMAD and LUCE5’S experts, a winner will be selected, and he will have his Light artwork carefully prototyped, realized and improved by Luce5’s skilled artisans in their Atelier in Tuscany.
